Shelva Jean Conn, 76, of Meyersdale, died January 17, 2017 at Meyersdale Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Born August 18, 1940, the daughter of George and Viola (Wilt) Orner. Preceded in death by her parents; 3 infant children; and sisters: Ruth Miller and Helen Minnick.

Survived by her husband of 56 years, Michael B. Conn; daughter: Susan Testa and husband Karl; son: Joseph Conn and wife Tonya; grandchildren: Nathan Testa, Schyler Conn, and Trisha Conn and fiancé Brett Fike; sisters: JoAnn (Robert) Werner and Shirley (Kerry) Anderson; and brother: Roger Orner. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Shelva was a member of First United Methodist Church, Meyersdale and the Meyersdale Chapter 548 O.E.S. She enjoyed playing cards, making crafts, and babysitting.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Price Funeral Service, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, with Rev. Jeri Penrod officiating. Interment Meyersdale Area Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given in her name to the First United Methodist Church, Meyersdale.
