Pauline E. Nider, 87, Meyersdale, died July 18, 2016 at Golden Living Center, Meyersdale. Born May 7, 1929 in Meyersdale, the daughter of Milton and Mary (Christner) Shuck. Preceded in death by her parents; husband of 64 years, Michael Nider; brother: Karl Shuck; and sisters: Bernice Housel, Margaret Petenbrink, and Wauneta Boyce.Survived by her children: Cary Nider and wife Dawn, Meyersdale; Denise McDonald, Somerset; Mark Nider, Garrett; Jeff Nider and wife Phyllis, Johnstown; grandchildren: Carly Khanna and husband Raj, Casey Nider and wife Ly, Danielle Yeago and husband Bryan, Derek McDonald and wife Keirsten, Michelle Yeaton and husband Zachary, Jessica Booher and fiancé Jeremy Schaad, Julie Nider, Austin, Joshua, and Corey Nider, Lauren Zimmerman and fiancé Erik Keskula, and Allison and Nathan Zimmerman; great grandchildren: Natalie Nider, Jasmine and Jaden Booher, and Amelia McDonald. Also survived by her sister: Ada Briskey, Meyersdale.

Pauline was a 1947 graduate of Meyersdale High School and a member of Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church, Meyersdale. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, baking, cooking, playing the piano, listening to music and being a loving housewife. The family would like to thank and express their gratitude to the staff at Golden Living Center, Meyersdale, and Asera Care Hospice for their loving care they gave to their mother.

Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Price Funeral Service, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, with Rev. Glenn P. Foster officiating. Interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery at White Oak.
