Maud Elizabeth Weimer, 100, Meyersdale, died February 18, 2015 at Rest Assured Living Center, Meyersdale. Born March 7, 1914 in Elk Lick Twp., the daughter of Frank and Alice (Keefer) Stevanus.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Oscar Weimer; son: David; great grandson: David; daughter-in-law: Betty; and 11 brothers and sisters.

Survived by her children: Paul Weimer, Garrett; Ken (Rachael) Weimer, Bangor, PA; Richard (Faye) Weimer, Lexington, S.C.; and Monna (Dale) Pritts, Rockwood; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 9 great great grandchildren. Also survived by daughter-in-law: Francine Adkins. She was the last surviving member of her family.

Maud was a member of the Garrett United Methodist Church for 89 years and she also attended Center Church of the Brethren, Champion.

Her favorite color was purple. She was an avid sports fan, and her favorite baseball team was the St. Louis Cardinals. She loved traveling, playing games, and doing puzzles. She was also very proud of all her family members who served in the Armed Forces.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale. Viewing also from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. Sunday, at Garrett United Methodist Church, with Rev. Marlin Miller and Pastor Homer Painter officiating. Interment Rockwood Cemetery.
