Mary Bertha (Sass) Glessner, 88, of Fort Ashby, W. VA, formerly of Meyersdale, PA, went to be with the Lord on September 2, 2016 at Goodwill Nursing Home, in Grantsville, MD.

Born October 14, 1927 in Pine Hill, PA, the daughter of John and Ida Mae (Domer) Sass. Preceded in death by her parents; husband of 54 years, Clyde Edward Glessner; and infant daughter Linda Carol. She was one of fourteen brothers and sisters.

Survived by two daughters: Nancy Hengst and Sally Smith and husband Jeff, both of Fort Ashby, W.Va; son: Bill Glessner and wife Evie, Berlin, PA; grandchildren: Roger Yutzey and wife Lori, Richmond, VA; Karen Yutzey and friend John, Roaring Springs, PA; Debbie Smith and friend Joe, Ryan Smith, and Lisa Smith and friend Keith, all of Fort Ashby, W.Va; and Dusty Glessner and wife Tiffany, Berlin, PA; 6 great grandchildren: sister-in-law: Louise Bowser, Chambersburg, PA and several loving nieces and nephews.

She retired from Penn Tables, Meyersdale and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Meyersdale.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, PA, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, with Pastor Pete Kaltenbaugh and Pastor JoAnn Dermer officiating. Interment Meyersdale Area Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials be given in her name to the Alzheimers Foundation or Goodwill Nursing Home.
