Kenneth E. Hemming, 69, Glade City Road, Meyersdale, died Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at home. Born June 28, 1948, in Boynton, the son of Lawrence and Annamae (Ross) Hemming. Preceded in death by his parents; grandparents: Abe and Nora Ross; and two sisters: Vietta Shumaker (husband E.J. Shumaker) and Inez Hemming.

Survived by his wife, Carolyn; daughter: Amy Knopsnyder and husband Tom, of Reading, grandchildren: Lucas and Ava Knopsnyder;

son: David Hemming and wife Jessica, of Meyersdale, grandchildren: Julia and Jalen Stephens; brothers: Chester Hemming and wife Lauren; Leroy Hemming, and many nephews and nieces. He was a Vietnam War Army veteran. Kenneth was a member of the Meyersdale Church of Christ, and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Price Funeral Service, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, with Pastors Robert Long, Timothy Moore, and Leo Lavin officiating.  Interment Grace Cemetery at White Oak
