Kathryn S. White, 65, of Meyersdale, died December 29, 2016 at In Touch Hospice House, Somerset.

She was born October 10, 1951 in Meyersdale. She is preceded in death by her parents: George Cook Sr. and Anna (Felker) Cook.

Survived by her husband of 47 years, Sheridan “Derb” White; children: James White and wife Jennifer, Somerset; and Jennifer Engle and husband Ed, Meyersdale; grandchildren: Lauren and Madison; and step brother: George Cook Jr., Meyersdale.

She is a graduate of Meyersdale High School and a retired seamstress.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Price Funeral Service, Meyersdale, where funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, with Pastor Jason Upton officiating. Interment Meyersdale Area Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family to help with expenses would be appreciated.
