James B. Pritts

James B. Pritts, 74, of Meyersdale, died August 7, 2017 at Meyersdale Healthcare and Rehab. Born November 16, 1942 in Garrett, the son of Charles A. and Irma (Brown) Pritts. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, the former Nancy Berkey; and infant grandson: Logan Beal.

Survived by children: Stacie Beal and husband Mike, Meyersdale; step-children: Mark Keefer, Michelle Putman, and Michael Keefer; grandchildren: Bryce, Olivia, and Brady Beal, Jason and Amber Putman, Jessyca, Cody, MaKayla, Shayna, and Tristin Keefer; brothers: Robert Pritts, Waldorf, MD; Roger Pritts, Beaver Falls; and sister; Beverly Tucker, Garrett. He is also survived by his fiancée, Fran Haer, and her family. He was a longtime member of the Meyersdale Moose Lodge, and a member of the Meyersdale Vets and Garrett Fire Department. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Price Funeral Service, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday with Rev. Randy Haulk officiating. Interment Somerset Co. Memorial Park.
