Irene E. Schrock, 100, of  Golden Living Center, Meyersdale, passed away November 19, 2015. Born February 15, 1915 , she was a life resident of 325 Salisbury Street, Meyersdale. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Anna Bertha (Werner) Schrock; brothers: Elwood and Harold Schrock; and sister, Dorothy Kenney. She is survived by her sister, Shirley Romesburg and husband Ronald, of Virginia Beach, VA; sister-in-law: Mary Schrock of Grosse Ille, MI; 7 nieces: Carol Miller, Meyersdale; Sandra Shanholtz, Romney, West Virginia; Judy Fridley, Cary, N.C.; Gretchen Pauliot, Portage, MI; Donna Schrock, Newman GA; Ronda Stracka, Rancho Santa Fe, CA; Beth Alford, Warrenton, VA; nephews: Donald Schrock, Meyersdale; Gary and Ronald Kenney, West VA; and Kim Schrock, Eastover, N.C. She left behind many cousins and life-long friends, including special friend and caregiver, Carol Stone and Carl Miller. Irene worked 44 years at Meyersdale Manufacturing Company and 18 years part time at The White House Restaurant. She was a life member of Amity United Church of Christ. Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Price Funeral Service, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, with Rev. Harold Garlick and Rev. Connie Garlick officiating. Interment Meyersdale Area Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Amity United Church of Christ, PO Box 97, Meyersdale, PA 15552.
