Glenn M. Martin, 95, of Meyersdale, passed away February 21, 2017 at Meyersdale Healthcare and Rehabilitation. Born January 19, 1922 in Meyersdale, the son of George and Emma (Jackson) Martin. Preceded in death by his parents; daughter: Shirley; brothers: George, Edgar, and Earl Martin; and son-in-law: Larry Fike.

Survived by his wife, of 70 years Jayne (Stahl) Martin; children: Mary Ann Fike, Nancy Stokes and husband Gerry, and David Martin and wife Jennifer; grandchildren: Kathy (Jeff) Pattison, Paul (Charlene) Fike, and Jeremy and Brendan Martin; and great grandchildren: Kyle, Roberto, and Diori Pattison.

He was a WWII Army veteran. Glenn was a member of the Meyersdale Church of the Brethren, where he was an usher for many years and also “The Knotters” Club. He enjoyed riding his John Deere tractor and mowing the yard.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Price Funeral Service, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, with Rev. Mike Swick officiating. Interment Meyersdale Area Union Cemetery.
