            Gilbert K. “Buck” Sechler, 76, of Meyersdale, died March 27, 2015 at Meyersdale Medical Center. Born October 14, 1938 in Meyersdale, the son of James G. and Cora (Haer) Sechler. Preceded in death by his parents; son: Rex Sechler, in 1974; brothers: Elmer, James, and Lester; and sisters: Margaret, Lillian, and Olive “Dolly”.

Survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary (Beal) Sechler; children: Heidi Roxanne Mort and husband Walt, Clark Allen Sechler and wife Vickey, and James Clarence Sechler and wife Bev; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 66, Pittsburgh and attended the Cornerstone Assembly of God. Buck loved playing Bluegrass and Gospel music.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with Rev. Thomas Twigg officiating. Interment Highland Cemetery, Garrett.
