Charles H. Streng, 89, Meyersdale, died August 29, 2015 at Meyersdale Medical Center. Born January 17, 1926 in Meyersdale, the son of Paul and Rose (Keefer) Streng. Preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Paul G., Larry W., and Jerry E. Streng; sisters: Karen Bowman and  Sandra Stiegel.

Survived by his daughter: Debra Leonberger, Orange Park, FL; and son: Terry Streng, Somerset;Grandsons: Matthew Streng, Michigan, and Jarrod Streng, Atlanta, GA; and great grandson: Hunter.Charles was a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran.  He was a member of the Main Street Brethren Church, Meyersdale.Per his wishes, there will be no viewing or service.
