Albert M. Hutzell, 69, of Berlin, died June 14, 2016 at home. Born March 8, 1947 in Meyersdale, the son of Leonard and Wilhelmina (Tressler) Hutzell. Preceded in death by his parents; daughter: Theresa; brothers: Elmer and William “Joe” Hutzell; sisters: Ruth Humberson, Shirley Hutzell, and Mary Meyers; and stepson: Todd Krause.

Survived by his wife of 24 years, the former Sandra Platt; children: Robert Hutzell, Meyersdale; Rebecca Hutzell (William Lane), Seven Springs; Mary Hutzell, Ursina;

Grandchildren: Tyler, Devin, Brayden, Ghyia Pine, Miles, Katie Mae, and Hunter. Also survived by brother: James (Betty) Hutzell; sisters: Betty (Austin) Hutzel and Linda Brock; stepson: Joe (Krista) Krause and stepgrandchildren: Maddie and Lydia.

He worked at the Meyersdale Shirt Factory for 35 years. Albert enjoyed watching Westerns, drawing, listening to music and gardening.

A celebration of Albert's life will be held Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Happy Valley Baptist Church, Somerset, with Pastor Barry Ferguson officiating.
